Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) is a globally recognized sustainability standard for the mining industry. Companies committed to it adhere to sustainable principles that benefit the environment, people, and the economy.

Mining companies can assess, monitor, and improve their operations using eight TSM assessment tools. These assessment tools also serve as the basis for external verification conducted every three years.

Results are annually published on a per-mine basis. Reporting enables various stakeholders and local residents to monitor the activities of a specific mine.
