The mining responsibility system maintained by the Sustainable Mining Network measures the level at which the mines using it rank in seven different operational areas. The results of the five mines are now being published for the second time. The results are comparable between different mines and previous results. The results are based on self-assessments, which are verified by a third party every three years.

The results of Outokumpu Chrome and SMA Minerals will be published later this year.
